Another no-spend day today!!
Opening & closing balance is $101.00! Tomorrow I bump up to $122.00, and it definitely won’t be a no-spend day. We’re out of eggs, almost out of milk (again) and I found 4 cross-stitch kits on Kijiji I’m buying…. I’d like to work on a cross stitch at night when the tv is on. I rarely *just* watch tv, I feel so unproductive when I do that! lol!
Here are the kits… $5.00 each!
I couldn’t choose so I’m buying them all & they’ll keep me busy for a long time!
Well, not much else to say so I’m going to go do some reading! lol!
Do you have any hobbies? Have you found any great deals lately on materials for your hobbies?
PS – I have Cheerios that the kids won’t eat… just a box of plain, they prefer the PC brand. Any recipes/ideas to use them up?

Try using the Cheerios in Rice Krispie squares instead of Rice Krispies. Nice & crunchy!
You can also use cheerios in a “bits and bites” mix that you cook on the stove top.
My fave kit are the birds one. Trying using Cheerios like Rice Crispies and making squares. I’ve done it before and they were not bad.
Mix with peanut butter, roll into balls, refrigerate and hang them out for the birds!

Yes, and the dog does look like Gill’s Molly !
AWESOME!! Thank-you! Kids will love these!
I just might have to adapt these for my kids! I tried the Cheerios instead of Rice Krispies for the squares…my boys prefer the krispie version.
I love, love, love the one with the birds.
I have taken up my knitting again…keeps my hands busy and stops me from snacking at night when I watch tv.
I will have to try those cheerio cookies! YUM!!
Those cross stitch are all great What a relaxing project.
Well, seems everyone has beat me to it
I was going to suggest the same, making rice crispies/granola bars out of them. That’s what we do with any cereal we don’t like (which were most likely free ish with a coupon!)
Oh, these are beautiful!! I like the first one.
oh my gosh! I LOVE the golden retriever cross stitch!!! Looks just like my boy!! I am truly jealous now…
!
Those cross-stitch kits are very nice. I see why you couldn’t pick just one. Can’t wait to see the finished product.
