*I sold a video game on Kijiji yesterday for $15.00! $10.00 of that went into Morgans guitar lessons, and $5.00 in change went into my “sealed pot”! 
No “extra” money was added to our monthly budget.
The boots I bought hubby last night are too small, so I’m returning them in hopes of finding a bigger size later on today. If not, we may go out tomorrow to find him a different pair of boots. So I’m leaving my balance at $38.73 today, that includes a fresh & new $21.00 for today!
Can anyone guess what my decluttering project for today is?
*sigh*
I can’t pull the tree apart though because my arm is still sore, although it is improving! I’ll get my son to pull it apart, pack it up, & haul it to the storage room downstairs.
Other than this, I’m going to clean out the kitchen junk drawer, sweep & mop the kitchen, vacuum the living room & take my girls out to play in the white snow! Yesterday it was way too cold (-25c/-13F) but it doesn’t seem as cold today & the sun is brightly shining to show off all of Gods beautiful creations today! So we’re going to get out and enjoy it!!
Dinner tonight is going to be BBQ Chicken open faced sandwiches on homemade buns with melted cheese. Yum!! (wish I could eat them! lol!) If you haven’t tried this recipe yet, try it! These do NOT last longer than one meal in my house! Ever.
Since my arm is feeling a little better I’m debating on trying to do a *little* sewing.. I really want to get started on the mug rug & coffee sleeve… It’s something I have in my head and I’m anxious to see if I can “put it to fabric” so to speak! lol! it’s been on my “to do” list forever and I know I’ll feel much better once it get sent to its rightful (and ever so patient) recipient!
I’m going to issue a little challenge to my readers today… get that little “something” you’ve been meaning to do forever & a day, finally DONE!

OK, I might be a day late and a dollar short on this challenge but here goes. I have been needing to move the china cabinet out of the former dinning room, now playroom for the grands. The little buggers have learned how to open the doors and drawers so I keep blocking them off with other furniture. HUGE job, and will need hubby’s help getting it moved, if he will cooperate I’m in!!

I finally took my son out and got him some desperately needed pants. Poor kid, I have been making him squeeze into his jeans for a month now. At least he can breathe properly now:)
We got a ton of snow here in central ontario. It is brutally cold now too. Makes it easy to want to stay home and not spend money.
I laughed at this. That is so something I would… make the kid where pants that are too tight just so don’t have to go shopping. ha ha
I’ve been working on my pantries today. Feel so much better now that everything is organized again!

Hmmm, this is perfect. Does my job count? I’ve been meaning to call a client to update our billing account and I *finally* did it today!! Came home and *finally* made the bean soup I’ve been meaning to make all week. (two things, does it count as two chances?)

Today, I finally finished a scrapbook for my mom that I started over 5 years ago. All it needed was journaling on 4 pages. It’s done and off to the post office in the morning. Yeah!
My tree needs to come down, I feel like it never will.
Wow! Look at all your snow! Only a couple of hours east away from you and yet we have nothing…a couple hours further east they also have snow…we must be in the no snow belt! lol Might be a little late for your challenge…did get most of the christmas decorations put away in their boxes…just need to get the boxes downstairs and the lights off the tree so hubbie can move tree to the garage for storage. My mom arrives on the train from my brother’s tomorrow so I need to get everything cleaned up by then…that is my goal. Very do-able!
